Cash App Payment Guide

How to Pay with Cash App

Paying by Cash App is short — the only part that needs care is the note field. Here is the whole process, and what happens once your payment lands.

Paying with crypto instead? This guide is for Cash App. Read the crypto payment guide — USDC and USDT on Ethereum or Solana.

⚠ Put ONLY your order number in the note

The Cash App note / memo field

Must contain your order number and nothing else — nothing before it, nothing after it. The format looks like this:

NEP-1234example only — do not send this

Your real order number is shown at checkout with a copy button, and again in your confirmation email.

That number is how we know which order the payment belongs to — it is what tells us which products are yours.

Cash App is a regulated payment service, and the note becomes a permanent record. Anything naming the items stays on that record, so please leave them out — no product names, no compound names, no abbreviations.

If a note names the items we do have to cancel that order — the record exists the moment it sends, so there is nothing we can undo afterwards — and repeated cases mean we cannot keep accepting orders from that account.

Step by Step

Five steps, and most people are done in a couple of minutes.

  1. 1

Add your items and choose Cash App at checkout

Fill your cart and start checkout as normal. On the payment step, pick Cash App from the list of methods. You will be shown the exact amount to send, the handle to send it to, and your order number — each with its own copy button, so nothing has to be retyped.

  2. 2

Send the exact amount from your Cash App

Open Cash App on your phone and send the exact amount shown at checkout to the handle shown at checkout. Send the precise figure — a short payment leaves the order unpaid until the balance arrives, and a payment we cannot match to an order is the slowest thing to resolve.

  3. 3

Put your order number in the note

Your order number, on its own. That is what connects your payment to your order and tells us which products are yours. Leave item names out — the note becomes a permanent record at a regulated payment service, and an order whose note names the items has to be canceled.

  4. 4

    Tell us you've sent it

Back on your order page, use the “I've sent it” button and add the name or reference your payment will show up under if it differs from your account name. That is what lets us tie your payment to your order if the amount alone is ambiguous. It takes a few seconds and it is the difference between same-day and a support email.

  5. 5

We confirm it, then it ships

Cash App payments are not verified automatically the way an on-chain payment is — a person checks that yours arrived and marks the order paid, usually within a few hours. Orders that clear payment before 2:00 PM ET on a business day are typically dispatched the same day; after that cutoff, or at a weekend, they go out the next business day. You will get an email when your payment is confirmed and another when your order ships.

Why we ask for the order number

It is how we match a payment to an order. Two people can send the same amount on the same afternoon — the number is what tells us whose products to pack, and it is the difference between your order moving straight into processing and sitting while we work out who sent what.

Item names are left out for a simpler reason: Cash App is a regulated payment service, and the note becomes a permanent record. Your order number tells us everything we need and says nothing about what you bought.

What happens if something goes wrong

If your payment arrives short, we email you the remaining balance and you can send the difference. If it never arrives within the window shown at checkout, the reservation is released and your items go back on sale — your order is not lost, and you can pay it from your order history if the stock is still there.

If the note went out wrong, do not send a second payment. Contact us with your order number first — a payment we can identify is recoverable, and a duplicate one is a refund queue.
